OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

To All Banks in the
Eleventh Federal Reserve District:

The Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of
Dallas has elected Robert A. Brown General Auditor of the Bank,
effective October 1, 1971. Mr. Brown succeeds Mr. Arthur H. Lang
who will retire October 1, 1971? having reached the mandatory
retirement age under the provisions of the Retirement System of
the Federal Reserve Banks, after having served the Bank as General
Auditor since 1958*
Mr. Brown was elected Assistant Cashier in 1966, and
he was elected to his present position of Assistant General Auditor
in 1970.
