Federal reserve Ba n k OF DALLAS Dallas, Texas, April 22,1955 To the Member and Nonmember Clearing Banks of the Eleventh Federal Reserve District: Please refer to the time schedule effective March 28, 1955, which is part of our Bulletin No. 6, dated April 1,1954. On this schedule it is stated that if any Federal Reserve bank or branch should adopt Daylight Saving Time, the time shown on the schedule would automatically be advanced one hour for the period of time the Daylight Saving Plan is observed by such Federal Reserve bank or branch. For your information, the Federal Reserve banks and branches in the cities shown below will observe Daylight Saving Time from April 24, 1955, through September 24,1955. Cleveland Baltimore Chicago St. Louis Louisville San Francisco Los Angeles We are also informed that the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and its branch in Buffalo, and the Pittsburgh Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland will observe Daylight Saving Time from April 24, 1955, to October 30; 1955. The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia will also operate under Daylight Saving Time beginning Monday, April 25; however, the termination date has not yet been determined. During those periods, our time limit for the acceptance of wire transfers to such Federal Reserve banks and branches, for completion on date of receipt, will be one hour earlier than the time shown on our schedule.
