Notice 93-43
TO:

The Chief Operating Officer of
each financial institution in the
Eleventh Federal Reserve District
SUBJECT
New Electronic Statement Delivery Service
DETAILS

Effective May 17, 1993, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and its
Branches in El Paso, Houston, and San Antonio will offer electronic delivery
of accounting statements via bulk data through FLASHLight, CPU link, or
Fedline connections with the District’s RESPONSE network. This new service
will provide complete accounting statements by 8:00 a.m. daily without the use
of multiple advice codes presently required under the District’s General
Advice Retrieval System (GARS), decreasing the amount of time your staff
spends retrieving accounting information.
Accounting statements will be available via both this new electronic
service and GARS until September 3, 1993, at which time the accounting
statements will be removed from GARS. The electronic statement delivery
service will be free to all online financial institutions. However, effective
January 1, 1994, online institutions electing to continue receiving accounting
statements in paper form will be charged a fee of $60.00 per month.
Online institutions interested in receiving this new electronic
delivery service should send a written request to John Phillips, at the Dallas
Office; Javier Jimenez, at the El Paso Office; Ren6 Gonzales, at the Houston
Office, or Richard Gutierrez, at the San Antonio Office.
