This program affords member b an ks th e opportunity to deposit items endpoint sorted by draw ee bank at a later deadline than is now available. This serv ice is being offered as an im provem ent to the paym ents mechanism, and a s a means of combating remote d isb u rsem e n t. In o rd e r to p articipate in this p ro gram , a member bank must req u est authorization from th eir R eserve Bank. Detailed schedules and operating guidelines will be prov id ed at that time.
