Since Texas raises more than one-fourth, and a l i t t l e less than one-third, of the entire cotton crop of this country, the bankers of the state are v it a lly interested in any discussion which has for it s ob ject an improvement in a l l conditions surrounding the financ ing, transporting and marketing of a staple so v ita l to our commercial in terest and our national w elfare.
