FEDERAL RESERVE BANK
O F DALLAS

January 2 2 , 1920*

TO TH bAN ADDRESSED:
E
K
I desire to d irect your attention to a meeting
of the Texas Division of the American Cotton Associa
tion which has been called to meet in Dallas on Janu
ary 27th and 28th.
Since Texas raises more than one-fourth, and a
l i t t l e less than one-third, of the entire cotton crop
of this country, the bankers of the state are v it a lly
interested in any discussion which has for it s ob ject
an improvement in a l l conditions surrounding the financ
ing, transporting and marketing of a staple so v ita l
to our commercial in terest and our national w elfare.
I strongly urge upon you to send a representa
tiv e of your bank to this meeting, as I am sure that
he would receive great ben efit, ana may have construct
ive suggestions to o ffe r .
Yours very truly,-

Federal Reserve Agent
