To the Member Bank Addressed: For your information, we quote the following excerpt from a letter of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, dated April 13, 1928: “In the advance copy of the April Supplement to the Federal Reserve Par List the Bank of Osceola, Osceola, Arkansas, is shown as being a closed bank, and the Hunter’s Bank, New Madrid, Mis souri, is shown as a withdrawal from the Par List. The Bank of Osceola, Osceola, Arkansas, is a withdrawal from the Par List, but is not closed, and the Hunter’s Bank, New Madrid, Missouri, is a closed bank.” Yours very truly, Governor.
