DETAILS

Effective Monday, March 15, 1993, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas
will begin offering an electronic fine sort deposit option designed to enhance
the offsite fine sort service in the Dallas Country Zone. The service, which
will be available to all offsite fine sort depositors, will include only
select endpoints. The deposit deadline for the electronic file for same-day
credit availability will be 6:00 a.m. Fees for the service will be $.006 per
item and $2.50 per endpoint for depositors and $.004 per item for the payor
endpoints who agree to accept electronic files.
The new electronic fine sort service is designed to give depositors
an improved deposit deadline at a reduced price, while providing payor
endpoints with complete data on their daily debits.
