TEXAS 7 5 2 2 2 Notice 93-26 TO: The Chief Operating Officer of each financial institution in the Dallas Country Zone of the Eleventh Federal Reserve District SUBJECT Introduction of an Electronic Fine Sort Deposit Option in the Dallas Country Zone DETAILS Effective Monday, March 15, 1993, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas will begin offering an electronic fine sort deposit option designed to enhance the offsite fine sort service in the Dallas Country Zone. The service, which will be available to all offsite fine sort depositors, will include only select endpoints. The deposit deadline for the electronic file for same-day credit availability will be 6:00 a.m. Fees for the service will be $.006 per item and $2.50 per endpoint for depositors and $.004 per item for the payor endpoints who agree to accept electronic files. The new electronic fine sort service is designed to give depositors an improved deposit deadline at a reduced price, while providing payor endpoints with complete data on their daily debits.
