F ederal reser ve Ban k o f D allas D ALLAS, T EX A S 75222 Circular No. 67-197 September 26, 1967 To All Banks in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District: Banking activities in the territory served by the Houston Branch appear to have returned to normal, but flood conditions in the southern portion of the San Antonio Branch territory continue to delay the presentation, payment, return, and notice of dishonor of items drawn on many banks in the affected area. The area of difficulty roughly lies south of a line from a point 50 miles south of Laredo north to a point about 50 miles south of San Antonio down to Aransas Pass on the Gulf. Present indications are that normal banking activities will continue to be disrupted through Friday, September 29, and possibly later with respect to banks in Three Rivers, Raymondville, and certain other points in the lower Rio Grande Valley.
