Dallas, Texas, March 19, 1957

To the Member and Nonmember Gearing Banks
of the Eleventh Federal Reserve District:
For your information we are advised that the following Federal
Reserve banks and branches will be closed on April 19,1957:
Boston
Philadelphia

Baltimore
Chicago

and that the Pittsburgh Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleve­
land and the Federal Reserve Bank of San PYancisco and its Los
Angeles Branch will close at 12:00 M on April 19, 1957.
We are also informed that the Detroit Branch of the Federal Re­
serve Bank of Chicago will be closed on April 1,1957, and that the Salt
Lake City Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco will
be closed on April 8,1957.
We are transmitting this information to you for your guidance in
connection with transit operations and transfers of funds.
