TEXAS 75222 F IR S T VICE P R E S ID E N T June 5, 1986 Circular 86-57 TO: The Chief Executive Officer of all financial institutions in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District SUBJECT Handling fee for cash shipments by registered mail DETAILS Beginning July 1, 1986, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas will implement a handling fee of $10.00 for each cash shipment delivered by registered mail. The fee is designed to recover administrative expenses associated with handling cash shipments by registered mail. The fee will be applied to orders by a financial institution or deposits from a financial institution. The new fee will be assigned Price Code 243--Registered Mail Handling Fee.
