FOREIGN ASSETS CONTROL REGULATIONS
MADE APPLICABLE TO CAMBODIA

TO ALL BANKS IN THE
ELEVENTH FEDERAL RESERVE DISTRICT:
T he So u th e a st A sian c o u n t r y of Cambodia has be en a d d e d to the
s c h e d u le of blocked c o u n tr ie s in section 500.201 of th e F oreign A s s e ts Con­
trol R eg u latio n s, effective April 17, 1975. T h u s , all sections of the r e g u ­
lations a p p lic a b le to " d e s ig n a te d fo reig n c o u n trie s " a p p ly to Cambodia as
well as to the P e ople's R epublic of C h in a , North K orea, an d North Viet Nam.
Section 500.204(a) (1) has be en a m e nded to a p p ly to goods of
Cam bodian o r i g i n , and technical am endm ents a r e b e in g made in o th e r s e c ­
tions of th e r e g u la tio n s an d in the statem ent of o rg a n iz a tio n of the Office of
Foreig n A ss e ts Control to reflect the a ddition of C am bodia. Also, the t r a n s ­
action control r e g u la tio n s h a v e be en am ended so th a t th e d e sig n a tio n of
Cambodia c o r r e s p o n d s e x ac tly to the d e s ig n a tio n u s e d in section 500.201
of th e F o reign A ss e ts Control R egu latio ns.
