In addition, we are advised by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System that Thursday, June 17, Bunker Hill Day, will be observed as a holiday by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. June 3 is a legal holiday also in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Virginia, but the Federal Reserve banks and branches located in those states will remain open for such busi ness as may be legally transacted. June 14, Flag Day, is a legal holiday in Pennsylvania, but the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia will handle such business as may be legally transacted, while the Pittsburgh Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland will be open for fiscal agency transactions only.
