FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF DALLAS Circular N o , 26 Amending Circular No. 46 Series of 1918. November 20, 1919. E X C H A N G E R A T E S TO THE MEMBER BANK ADDRESSED:Effective immediately, subject to change without notice, we will effect mail transfers to Banks located m other Federal Reserve cities for the account of our member banks at par. Therefore, the paragraph contained in our Circular No. 46., Series of 1918, relating to "Sales" is changed to read as follows: "Mail remittances made by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and its El Paso and Houston Branches, to banks located in other Federal Reserve or Branch Federal Reserve cities, at the request of, and for the account of member banks located-in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District, will be made at par." We will continue to make wire transfers to banks located in other Federal Reserve or Branch Federal Reserve cities, without cost to our member banks, and it should really be ap preciated that funds transferred by wire will earn a fraction more than the discount formerly allowed on mail remittances. Please bear in mind that telegrams sent us request ing wire transfers may be'sent charges collect.
