TEXAS of Dallas 75222 C ircular No. 79-170 October 11, 1979 ERRATUM - INCREASE IN DISCOUNT RATE TO ALL MEMBER BANKS AND OTHERS CONCERNED IN THE ELEVENTH FEDERAL RESERVE DISTRICT: In our c irc u la r No. 79-169, dated October 10, 1979, it was indicated that the 1-percent increase in the discount rate, from 11 percent to 12 percent, was effective on Monday, October 8, 1979. While the change was effective on October 8 in six of the Federal Reserve D istricts, it was effective on Tuesday, October 9 in the Eleventh Federal Reserve D istrict. Sincerely yours, Robert H.
