SALVA G G IO F IR S T V IC E PR ES ID EN T September 18, 1992 DALLAS, TEXAS 7 5 2 2 2 Notice 92-85 TO: The Chief Operating Officer of each financial institution in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District SUBJECT Eleventh D i s t r i c t Holiday Schedule DETAILS This Bank and its Branches at El Paso, Houston, and San Antonio, Texas, will observe the following holidays in 1993 and will not be open on the dates indicated below: January 1, New Y e a r ’s Day January 18, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day February 15, Presidents Day May 31, Memorial Day July 5, Independence Day September 6, Labor Day October 11, Columbus Day November 11, Veterans Day November 25, Thanksgiving Day December 25, Christmas Day The Federal Reserve standard holiday schedule mandates that if January 1, July 4, November 11, or December 25 falls on a Sunday, the following Monday will be observed as a holiday. If January 1, July 4, November 11, or December 25 occurs on a Saturday, the preceding Friday will not be observed as a holiday. Because December 25, 1993, falls on a Saturday, December 24, 1993, will not be a holiday for this Reserve Bank.
