SALVAGGIO FIR S T V IC E P R E S ID E N T July 2, 1991 DALLAS, TEXAS 75222 Notice 91-55 TO: The Chief Operating Officer of each financial institution in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District SUBJECT Eleventh D is t r i c t Holiday Schedule DETAILS This Bank and its Branches at El Paso, Houston, and San Antonio, Texas, will observe the following holidays in 1992 and will not be open on the dates indicated below: January 1, New Y e a r ’s Day January 20, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day February 17, Presidents Day May 25, Memorial Day July 4, Independence Day September 7, Labor Day October 12, Columbus Day November 11, Veterans Day November 26, Thanksgiving Day December 25, Christmas Day The Federal Reserve standard holiday schedule mandates that if January 1, July 4, November 11, or December 25 falls on a Sunday, the following Monday will be observed as a holiday. If January 1, July 4, November 11, or December 25 occurs on a Saturday, the preceding Friday will not be observed as a holiday. Because July 4, 1992, falls on a Saturday, July 3, 1992, will not be a holiday for this Reserve Bank. Under current law, most commercial banks in this District are scheduled to have a holiday on July 3, 1992.
