TEXAS February 24, 1965 To the Bank Addressed: We are advised th at the Downtown Bank, Houston, Texas, a newly organized, insured, nonmember bank located in the territory served by the Houston Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, will open for business on February 25, 1965. The bank has notified us th at payment will be made at par for checks drawn on it when received from the Federal Reserve Bank. Checks drawn on the new bank will be received by our Houston Branch for collection on a city item basis and immedi ate credit will be given for such items.
