TE X A S 75222 C ircu lar No. 79-134 A ugust 9, 1979 DOLLAR SORTED RCPC CASH LETTERS TO ALL BANKS IN THE ELEVENTH FEDERAL RESERVE DISTRICT: Large in creases in check volume deposited at this Bank's Regional Check Processing C en ter, coupled with the continuing effort to improve the local paym ents mechanism, have n ecessitated the fol lowing revision to our check collection procedure: effective Monday, Septem ber 3, 1979, this Bank will r e q u ire that cash letters deposited after 11:00 p .m . th ro u g h the North Texas Regional Check Processing C enter must be dollar sorted into "$50 and Under" and "Over $50" c a te g o rie s . T hese m easures should re s u lt in a more manageable flow of RCPC cash letter deposits without causing u n n e c e ssa ry inconvenience on yo u r p a r t.
