P R E S ID E N T AND C H IE F E X E C U T IV E O F F IC E R April 1, 1991 DALLAS, TEXAS 75222 Notice 91-27 TO: The Chief Operating Officer of each financial institution in the Dallas Office Territory SUBJECT Deposit Deadline Extensions for Selected Check Services in the Dallas Office Territory DETAILS On May 1, 1991, the Dallas Office of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas will offer later deadlines for selected check deposit categories. These changes will significantly improve credit availability for depositors who are unable to meet our current deadlines. The mixed cash letter deadline will be extended from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 7:00 p.m. Friday to 2:00 p.m. Saturday. The credit availability for the new mixed cash letter deadlines will be as printed on the reverse side of this notice. Additionally, the unsorted country cash letter deadline will be extended from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The fine sort country deadline will be extended from 9:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday while the Sunday fine sort country deadline will be changed from 9:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. The Sunday unsorted country cash letter deadline will remain 5:00 p.m. MORE INFORMATION If you have any questions concerning these changes, please contact Robert Whitman at (214) 698-4357 or Thomas Holloway at (214) 651-6123.
