The r e v i s e d g u i d e l i n e s c o n t a i n uniform packaging s t a n d a r d s f o r coin and c urre nc y f o r d e p o s i t i n g and o r d e r i n g c as h . They a l s o c l a r i f y t h e System' s p o l i c y with r ega rd t o a cc e ss t o Federal Reserve cash s e r v i c e s . Under t h e new g u i d e l i n e s , d e p o s i t o r y i n s t i t u t i o n s , i n c l u d i n g b r a nc h es , wi l l have acc ess t o cash s e r v i c e s so long as a d m i n i s t r a t i v e procedures and packaging requirements a r e met. These s t a n d a r d s wi l l e nsur e t h a t a l l Federal Reserve o f f i c e s provide a uniform l e v el o f c e n t r a l bank cash s e r v i c e s t o a l l d e p o s i t o r y i n s t i t u t i o n s on an e q u i t a b l e b a s i s .
