Consumer Advisory Council Meeting
DETAILS

The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System has announced that
the Consumer Advisory Council will hold its next meeting on November 3, 1994. The
meeting will be held in the Board Room of the Eccles Building. The session will begin
at 9 a.m. and is open to the public.
The council’s function is to advise the Board on the exercise of its responsi­
bilities under the Consumer Credit Protection Act and on other matters on which the
Board seeks its advice. In addition to the following matters, reports by committees and
other m atters previously considered by the council or initiated by council members may
also be discussed:
•

Community Reinvestment Act Reform

•

Fair Lending Matters

•

Waiver of Consumers’ Right of Rescission for Certain Loans

•

Mandatory Arbitration Clauses

•

Governor’s Report

•

M em ber’s Forum
