P R E S ID E N T AND C H IE F E X E C U T IV E February 28, 1994 O F F IC E R DALLAS, TEXAS 75265-590 6 Notice 94-25 TO: The Chief Executive Officer of each member bank and others concerned in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District SUBJECT Consumer Advisory Council Meeting DETAILS The Federal Reserve Board has announced that the Consumer Advisory Council will hold its next meeting on March 24, 1994. The meeting will be held in Terrace Room E of the Martin Building. The session will begin at 9 a.m. and is open to the public. The council’s function is to advise the Board on the exercise of its responsibilities under the Consumer Credit Protection Act andon other matters on which the Board seeks its advice. In addition to the following matters, reports by committees and other matters previously considered by the council or initiated by the council members may also be discussed: • Community Reinvestment Act Reform • Truth in Savings Proposal Regarding Annual Percentage Yield Calculations • Member’s Forum • Governor’s Report • Consumer Credit Counseling Study Persons wishing to submit to the council their views regarding any of the above topics may do so by sending written statements to Ann Marie Bray, Secretary, Consumer Advisory Council, Division of Consumer and Community Affairs, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Washington, D.C. 20551. Comments must be received by March 21, 1994, and must be of a quality suitable for reproduction.
