Consumer Advisory Council Meeting
DETAILS
The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System has announced
that its Consumer Advisory Council will meet on Thursday, March 17, and
Friday, March 18, in sessions open to the public, in Terrace Room E of the
Board's Martin Building. The Martin Building is on C Street, Northwest,
between 20th and 21st Streets in Washington, D.C. Time permitting, the
council plans to discuss the following topics:

Home Equity Lines of Credit
Expedited Funds Availability
Expanded Bank Powers
Community Reinvestment Act
Automotive Leasing
Rent-to-Own Transactions

The Consumer Advisory Council was established by the Board in 1976,
to periodically advise and consult with the Board. The Council represents the
interests of both the financial industry and consumers.
Anyone wishing to submit comments regarding any of the topics may do
so by sending written statements to Ann Marie Bray, Secretary, Consumer
Advisory Council, Division of Consumer and Community Affairs, Board of
Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Washington, D.C. 20551. Comments
must be received no later than March 11, 1988.
