FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF DALLAS F IS C A L A G E N T O F THE UNITED S T A T E S Dallas, Texas, January 13, 1945 To Qualified Issuing Agents of War Savings Bonds, Series E: Owing to war conditions, it is necessary to conserve cotton materials used in the manufacture of the cloth bags in which this bank and its branches ship stock of United States Savings Bonds. To aid such conserva tion, it is urged that issuing agents return to this bank or appropriate branch any such bags in their possession. The bags may be returned by express, collect, or by parcel post. If forwarded by parcel post, refund of the postage costs will be made upon advice of the amount expended. Since mutilation of bags makes them unfit for further use without patching, those persons who open bags containing bond stock should be requested to do so with care. The cooperation of all issuing agents will be appreciated. Yours very truly, R. R.
