To the Member Bank Addressed:

Condition reports of all member banks of the Eleventh Federal Reserve District as of
March 26, 1940, show total deposits of $1,566,721,000, reflecting a decline of $10,023,000,
since December 30, 1939, and a net gain of $174,425,000, since March 29, 1939. Loans, in­
cluding overdrafts, as compared with March 29, 1939, show a net increase of $22,501,000,
while total loans and investments show a net increase o f $27,380,000, for the same period.
As compared with March 29, 1939, call, individual demand deposits and individual
time deposits registered gains of $88,664,000, and $1,556,000, respectively. Borrowings as
of March 26, 1940, aggregated $117,000, all from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. As
compared with the March 29, 1939, call, borrowings from all sources show a net reduction
of $206,000.
