F ederal R eserve Bank OF DALLAS Dallas, Texas, December 20,1966 COMMERCIAL CARRIER SERVICES ON SATURDAYS PRECEDING CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR’S DAY To All Member and Par Remitting Nonmember Banks in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District: We are informed by the commercial carriers which deliver our cash letters to a large number of banks in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District that they will not be in operation on Saturday, December 24 and Saturday, December 31, 1966, and therefore, will make no pickups from these banks on those two dates. If your bank will be open, you should remit for any cash letters re ceived on those Saturdays. However, if it has been your practice to forward the remittance by carrier, please MAIL the remittance on those two dates in order that it will reach us on Monday morning.
