CLOSING OF SUBSCRIPTION BOOKS FOR CURRENT OFFERING OF
% % TREASURY CERTIFICATES OF INDEBTEDNESS
OF SERIES G-1944

To All Banking Institutions, and Others Concerned,
in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District:
The Secretary of the Treasury announced today that the subscription
books for the current offering of % % Treasury Certificates of Indebted­
ness of Series G-1944, open to holders of Treasury Certificates of Indebted­
ness of Series E-1943, maturing December 1,1943, will close at the close of
business tomorrow, November 24.
Subscriptions addressed to a Federal Reserve bank or branch, or to the
Treasury Department, and placed in the mail before twelve o’clock midnight
Wednesday, November 24, will be considered as having been entered before
the close of the subscription books.
