To Treasury Tax and Loan Depositaries
in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District:

The Treasury Department has announced that checks
covering individual or corporate income taxes due September
15, 195b, may not be deposited in Tax and Loan Accounts of
depositaries.

This decision was made because of the rela­

tively small amount involved and the disbursement require­
ments of the Treasury during September.
