CHANGES IN BULLETIN 5, "CURRENCY AND COIN11

TO THE CASH OFFICER AT THE BANK ADDRESSED:
Our offices at Dallas, El Paso, Houston, and San Antonio are e xp eri­
encing a significant increase in both incoming and outgoing money shipments.
To handle this ever increasing volume, each of the four offices are in various
stages of use of automated currency processing equipment. To assist us in
giving your bank improved service through increased efficiency of our auto­
mated cash processing equipment and to enable us to better serve your needs
for money shipments directed to your bank, we ask your cooperation with the
following changes to our Bulletin 5, "C urrency and Coin." All changes are to
be effective the week beginning September 17, 1979.
Section 3, SHIPMENTS FROM THIS BANK
3.00

Ordering currency and coin

Orders for currency and coin must be received no later than 2:00 p.m .
on the business day p reced in g the shipping date.

Preparation of currency shipments

Individual straps must be bound in bundles as follows:

C urrency that cannot be arranged as described in the table, because
of insufficient quantities of notes, must be retained until enough
currency of the appropriate denomination has been accumulated to
complete standard bundle and strap units.
Each strap must show the amount of notes enclosed, the name and
location of sending bank, the date of verification, and the identification
of the employee(s) who prepared the strap.

Coin shipments to this Bank must be shipped in bags in the following
