F ederal Reserve Bank OF DALLAS Dallas, Texas, June 15,1945 To the Member Bank Addressed: I am pleased to announce that at a recent meeting o f our Board o f Directors, Dr. Watrous H. Irons was appointed Direc tor of Research for the year beginning July 1, 1945. Dr. Irons is Professor o f Banking and Finance at the University o f Texas and has been granted a leave of absence for one year by the University in order to accept this appointment. As Director o f Research, he succeeds Dr. James C. Dolley, who resigned on May 15 to become Vice President o f the University o f Texas. I am also pleased to announce that our Board of Directors has elected Mr. E. H. Berg Cashier o f our El Paso Branch, effective June 16, 1945. As Cashier o f the El Paso Branch Mr. Berg succeeds Mr. Grover C. Page, who is being transferred to the head office. Yours very truly, R. R.
