Federal

Bank

OF DALLAS

Dallas, Texas, September 8, 1945

To the M em ber and N onm em ber Clearing Banks
o f the Eleventh Federal R eserve D istr ic t:

There is enclosed revised page 9 of our Bulletin No. 8 relating to the
collection of cash items. This page, representing the time schedule of avail
ability, will become effective September 10, 1945. The principal changes
made therein are the elimination of certain banks located in outlying sec
tions of the head office and branch cities or in cities contiguous thereto,
which are collectible by mail. A list of such banks, together with those
added since our previous time schedule, is also enclosed. A further change
has been made in the schedule of the head office, which increases the defer
ment on Oklahoma City items from one to two days. The time schedules of
the branches at El Paso, Houston and San Antonio reflect an increase of
from two to three days deferment on Oklahoma City items.
The revised page and list of banks in outlying sections and in contiguous
cities should be inserted in the ring binder containing bulletins of this bank
and the Regulations of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve
System, in lieu of the corresponding page dated June 1, 1943.
Yours very truly,
R. R. GILBERT

President
