DALLAS, TX 75201-2272 August 23, 2005 Notice 05-45 TO: The Chief Executive Officer of each financial institution and others concerned in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District SUBJECT Availability of 2004 Data on Small Business, Small Farm, and Community Development Lending DETAILS The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) has announced the availability of data on small business, small farm, and community development lending reported by certain commercial banks and savings institutions pursuant to the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). The FFIEC has prepared a disclosure statement from CRA data reported—in electronic form—for each reporting commercial bank and savings institution. The FFIEC also has prepared aggregate disclosure statements of small business and small farm lending for each of the metropolitan statistical areas and each of the non-metropolitan counties in the United States and its territories. These statements have been distributed to central depositories throughout the nation, where they are available for public inspection.
