SALV A G G IO FIR S T V IC E PR ES ID EN T January 13, 1994 D A L LA S , T E X A S 7 5 2 6 5 -5 9 0 6 Notice 94-13 TO: The Chief Executive Officer of each member bank and others concerned in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District SUBJECT Announcement of Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas O ffic e r Retirements DETAILS Three officers who have had long, successful careers with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas have elected to take early retirement and will be leaving the Bank before the end of this month. They are: Jack A. Clymer, Vice President. Jack is currently responsible for various aspects of our business development program, but most of his working life was spent in the check collection function. Jack was instrumental in organizing the District’s Regional Check Processing Centers and in, among other things, the development of innovative systems for handling returned checks and electronic presentments. Jerry L. Hedrick, Vice President. Among his many accomplishments, Jerry reorganized our procurement procedures, and more recently, played a key role in the design and construction of the Dallas F e d ’s new headquarters. Largely through his attention to detail and knowledge of the construction industry, the building was completed ahead of schedule and under budget. Mary Louise Rosas, Assistant Vice President. Mary Louise is the Di s t r i c t ’s preeminent source of knowledge and experience in matters relating to currency, coin, and food coupons, as well as the functions of several other operating departments. Recently, she assisted the central bank of Mexico in currency-handling procedures and in counterfeit detection. Officers who took advantage of the Ban k ’s Early Retirement Program in 1993 are: Jay K. Mast, Senior Vice President. Jay was responsible for the B a n k ’s Information and Payments Services Departments, including Data Services, Check Collection, and Electronic Payments.
