TO:

The Chief Executive Officer of each
member bank and others concerned in
the Eleventh Federal Reserve District
SUBJECT
Announcement of Federal Reserve Bank of
Dallas O ffic e r Retirements
DETAILS

Three officers who have had long, successful careers with the
Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas have elected to take early retirement and will
be leaving the Bank before the end of this month. They are:
Jack A. Clymer, Vice President. Jack is currently responsible
for various aspects of our business development program, but
most of his working life was spent in the check collection
function. Jack was instrumental in organizing the District’s
Regional Check Processing Centers and in, among other things, the
development of innovative systems for handling returned checks and
electronic presentments.
Jerry L. Hedrick, Vice President. Among his many accomplishments,
Jerry reorganized our procurement procedures, and more recently,
played a key role in the design and construction of the Dallas
F e d ’s new headquarters.
Largely through his attention to detail
and knowledge of the construction industry, the building was
completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
Mary Louise Rosas, Assistant Vice President. Mary Louise is the
Di s t r i c t ’s preeminent source of knowledge and experience in
matters relating to currency, coin, and food coupons, as well as
the functions of several other operating departments.
Recently,
she assisted the central bank of Mexico in currency-handling
procedures and in counterfeit detection.
Officers who took advantage of the Ban k ’s Early Retirement Program
in 1993 are:
Jay K. Mast, Senior Vice President. Jay was responsible for the
B a n k ’s Information and Payments Services Departments, including
Data Services, Check Collection, and Electronic Payments.
