F ederal r eser v e ban k OF DALLAS Dallas, Texas, July 12, 1943 ANNOUNCEMENT To the Member Banks of the Eleventh Federal Reserve District: I am pleased to announce that at a recent meeting of our board of directors, Dr. James C. Dolley, of Austin, Texas, was appointed to serve as Economic Adviser to the bank. Dr. Dolley has been connected with the University of Texas for about fifteen years, and will divide his time between the bank and the University. The research activities of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas are being materially expanded in order to better serve the member banks and busiĀ ness interests of the Eleventh Federal Reserve District. A similar program of expansion is being undertaken throughout the Federal Reserve System. Dr. Dolley has assumed his new duties and will collaborate with Morgan H.
