2001 Eleventh District Holiday Schedule
DETAILS
The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and its Branches at El Paso, Houston, and San
Antonio, Texas, will not be open on the following holidays in 2001:
January 1
January 15
February 19
May 28
July 4
September 3
October 8
November 12
November 22
December 25

New Year’s Day
Martin Luther King, Jr., Day
Presidents Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Columbus Day
Veterans Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day

The Federal Reserve standard holiday schedule mandates that if January 1, July 4,
November 11, or December 25 falls on a Sunday, the following Monday will be observed as a
holiday. If January 1, July 4, November 11, or December 25 occurs on a Saturday, the preceding
Friday will not be observed as a holiday. Because November 11, 2001, falls on a Sunday,
Monday, November 12, 2001, will be observed as a holiday.
