National Compensation Survey

The National Compensation Survey (NCS), a Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) program, began in 1996 with a series of pilot test surveys known as COMP2000. This new survey, officially renamed the National Compensation Survey in 2000, integrated three data collection programs into one. The Occupational Compensation Survey (OCS), the Employment Cost Index, and the Employee Benefits Survey merged with the aim of creating one comprehensive compensation
program.|Source: www.bls.gov: National Compensation Measures: History.

Examples of surveys from the COMP2000 pilot test can be found under the OCS title as well as the NCS title.
