FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF DALLAS F I S C A L A G E N T O F T H E U N IT E D S T A T E S Dallas, Texas, May 27,1952 CLOSING OF SUBSCRIPTION BOOKS FOR THE 2 % % TREASURY BONDS, INVESTMENT SERIES B-1975-80 To All Banking Institutions, and Others Concerned, in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District: There is quoted below a press statement issued today by the Treasury Department: “ Secretary of the Treasury Snyder announced today that the subscription books for the current offering of 2% percent Treasury Bonds, Investment Series B-1975-80, which are now open for cash or for cash and in exchange for 2Vss percent Treasury Bonds of 1965-70, 1966-71, and two issues of 1967-72, will close at the close of business Thursday, May 29, 1952. “ Subscriptions addressed to a Federal Reserve Bank or Branch, or to the Treasury Department, and placed in the mail before midnight of May 29 will be considered as having been entered before the close of the subscription books. “ Announcement 'of the total amount of subscriptions and their division among the several Federal Reserve Districts will be made later.” Subscriptions addressed to this bank or appropriate branch and placed in the mail before midnight, Thursday, May 29, will be considered as timely subscriptions.
