Dallas, Texas, December 26, 1942

To the Member Bank Addressed:
Friday, January 1, New Year’s Day, will be observed as a
holiday by this bank and its branches, as well as by all Federal
Reserve banks and their branches.
In addition, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and its
branches at El Paso, Houston, and San Antonio will be closed
on Tuesday, January 19, 1943, in observance of the birthday
of General Robert E. Lee.
We are transm itting this information to you for your guid­
ance in connection with transit operations and transfers of
funds.
