To the Member Bank Addressed:

Tuesday, November 5, General Election Day, will be observed as a holi­
day by this bank and its branches.
Monday, November 11, Armistice Day, will be observed as a holiday by
this bank and its branches, as well as by all other Federal Reserve banks
and their branches.
In addition, the following holidays during the month of November will
be observed by certain other Federal Reserve banks and branches as
indicated:

Since the President has not as yet issued his Thanksgiving proclamation,
advice with respect to that holiday is held in abeyance awaiting the proc­
lamation and action by the authorities o f the respective States.
We are transm itting this information to you for your guidance in con­
nection with transit operations and transfers of funds.
