Filing o f Registration Statements

To all Persons Concerned with Regulation TV
in the Second Federal Reserve D istrict:

Each person who was engaged in a business subject to Regulation W
on September 18, 1950, is reminded that, pursuant to the provisions of
section 2( b) o f the regulation, he is required to file a Registration State­
ment not later than November 17, 1950. I f such a statement has been
filed, this notice should be disregarded.
Any person who engages in a business subject to Regulation W after
September 18, 1950, is required to file a Registration Statement within
60 days after he becomes subject to the regulation.
Copies of the Registration Statement form and o f our Circular
No. 3597, dated September 29, 1950, calling attention to the require­
ments fo r filing Registration Statements, will be furnished upon request.
