Stolen National Bank Notes
To all Banks, Trust Companies and Savings Banks
in the Second Federal Reserve District:
In a robbery of the First National Bank, Portland, Connecticut, eighteen sheets
of incomplete $10 and $20 national bank currency notes of that institution were stolen,
according to information received by us from the Treasury a t Washington.

The notes

number from 10028 to 10045, both inclusive, with Treasury numbers N972342D to
N972359D.
If these notes are received and detected it is requested that they be held and that
the proper Secret Service operative be informed immediately.

I t is also requested that

this bank be advised by wire.
