STATEMENT FOR THE PRESS

For immediate release

March 8, 1940.

The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System today announced the appointment of Mr.
R. C. Rich, President, R. C. Rich Sheep Company,
Burley, Idaho, as a director of the Salt Lake City
Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco
for the unexpired portion of the two-year term ending December 31, 1940.
