STATEMENT FOR THE PRESS

For immediate release

March 6, 1957.

The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve
System today announced the appointment of Mr. Jay
Taylor of Amarillo, Texas, as a class "CM director
of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas for the unexpired portion of the term ending December 51,
1959.
