STATEMENT FOR THE PRESS

For immediate release

February 27, 1937.

The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve
System today announced the appointment of Mr. George
G. Chance of Bryan, Texas, as a director of the Houston
branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas for the
unexpired portion of the term ending December 31, 1937.
