WASHINGTON
June 15, 1918.
In accordance with the provisions of Executive Order No. 1962,·

June 9, '1914, the offices of the Federal Reserve Board will be closed at
. on& o'clock P., M., on ail Saturdays during the period from June 15 to
September 15, 1918.

Nb time will be allowed for luncheon on Saturdays

during the same period.
The Executive Order in questiob contains the folloWing provision:
"Provided, ·however, that this order shall not apply
to any bureau or office of the Government, or to any of
the clerks or.other employEoes thereof, tbat.may for special
public reasons be excepted therefrom by the head of the
Department having supervision or control of such bureau or
office, or where the same would be inconsistent with the
provisions of existing 1aw .. "
