FEDERAL RESERVE BOARD WASHINGTON address official correspondence t o the federal reserve board SUBJECT: January 20, 1936 B-1130. Specimen copies of Federal Reserve currency. Dear Sir; A representative of one of the Federal Reserve banks recently inquired whether it would be practicable for the Treasury Department to furnish hie bank with specimen copies of Federal Reserve notes of the 1928 and 193^ series and of Federal Reserve bank notes of the 1932 series. Before taking the matter up formally with the Treasury Department it will be appreciated if you will advise the Board whether your bank desires such specimen copies, and if so whether copies of all denominations of each series, or of only one denomination of each series, are desired. Very truly yours, Chester Morrill, Secretary. COPY TO ALL GOVERNORS
