Dear S i r :
Mr. Floyd R. Harrison, A s s i s t a n t to the Governor
of the Federal Reserve Board, tendered his r e s i g n a t i o n to
be e f f e c t i v e as of the close of busine ss on May 15, 1933,
and i t has been accepted by the Federal Reserve Board.
On May 18, 1933, the Board appointed Mr. E. M.
McClelland, formerly A s s i s t a n t S e c r e t a r y , to succeed Mr.
Harrison as A s s i s t a n t to the Governor.

The Board a l s o on

May 18, 1933, appointed Mr. S. R. Carpenter as A s s i s t a n t
S e c r e t a r y to succeed Mr. McClelland.
