Dear Sir! lt is the practice of the Federal Reserve Agents to submit in some detail their views and recommendations in connection with applications filed with the Comptroller of the Currency to organize national bariYs and applications of national banks for permission to reduce capital stock. A ~ajority of the Federal Reserve Agents co~ municate their views and recommendations direct to the Board for transmission to the Comptroller of the Currency. It is requested that hereafter all Federal ReĀ· serve Agents advise the Comptroller of the Currency direct and send to the Board copies of their communications to him. Very truly yours, Walter L.
