Dear Sir: There are being forwarded to you today under separate cover copies of form 107 for the use of state tank members i n submitting their reports of earnings, expenses, and dividend payments for the s i x months ending June 30, 1928. In submitting t h e i r December 31, 1927 reports some of the banks f a i l e d to furnish the d e t a i l e d i n formation i n regard to i n t e r e s t received and paid, which i s c a l l e d f o r by the form. Please c a l l the a t tention of the banks to the omission and ask them to use particular care to see that a l l the information c a l l e d f o r by the form i s supplied i n the June 1928 and subsequent reports. The word "none" should be written or stamped i n each space where there i s nothing to report. I t w i l l be noted that, except f o r explanatory words that have been added following certain captions, the form i s substantially the same as used f o r the l a s t report, the adoption of some of the changes indicated on the proof sent you on April 2b having been postponed. The form that i s being sent you does, however, give the bank the option of showing i n Section 4 t o t a l p r o f i t s since January 1, 1927, or other recent date, instead of from organization, i f the l a t t e r f i g u r e s are not readily available.
