Dear Sir: The 1921 edition of form FRA-5, d a i l y statement of Federal Reserve Agent, has been received from the printer, and a supply i s being forwarded to you today, "under separate cover. On the new edition of the form, the amount of Federal Reserve notes returned to the Comptroller of the Currency for destruction i s treated as a deduction from the gross amount received frcm the Compt r o l l e r , whereas at present t h i s item appears on the resource side* I t w i l l also be noted that code words have been provided for certain of the items, including two memorandum it3ms covering notes issued and retired during the week* As stated in the note at the bottom of the form, the code-items are to be telegraphed to the Board (in thousands of d o l l a r s ) as at close of business en each Friday.
